Our Billabong x Mami Wata collection celebrates surfing’s origin story in West Africa and revisits where surfing got its start on these shores as many as 1000 years ago. Mami Wata launched in 2017, in Cape Town, South Africa. Mami Wata was founded out of a love for surfing, design, and Africa, and a belief in the power of African surf.

In my role, creative director, I led the concept and execution for the creative of the Billabong X Mami Wata Campaign. Collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to bring to life the global omni-channel campaign.
